Christmas Everyday!!

Yes, our blog has been a little quiet since we left for CHA in July. We have a good reason for it, CONSTRUCTION!! We bought so much stuff that we had to break down walls and expand the studio and store. While under construction we are trying to find room for all of the boxes that keep arriving daily. It is literally Christmas everyday around here lately. We are like kids on Christmas morning, ooohing and aaahing every time we open a box, remembering what we had ordered. We are sooooooo excited, not only about the awesome new products arriving but also about the larger area that we now have to shop and play! Mark your calendars for Saturday, September 26th. We will be hosting an Expansion Open House from 1p-4p. We will have demos, make n takes, refreshments and lots of fun!!

Tomorrow begins our adventures at CHA. We will be heading to Orlando to find the treasures you are looking for to use in your craft projects. We will be viewing the latest products offered by the scrapbooking and rubber stamping industry. While we are gone there will still be someone running the store so feel free to stop by and see what we currently have to offer. We will post on this blog once we return to let you know what is heading this way.

Classes June 22 - June 26

We have a full week of classes this week. A great variety of techniques almost every day.

Starting on Monday June 22nd get ready to learn how to make your own jewelry. Renee has a couple of great classes happening on Monday. The first class is a Basic Jewelry class where Renee will teach you how to make 2 bracelets. One memory wire bracelet and one toggle bracelet. Both made with beautiful glass beads. 1p - 3p and for just $20 ALL supplies are included. To sign up for this class please call Renee at 352-584-2555.

If that one class cannot quench your thirst for all things jewelry making, come back Monday evening for Renee's Intermediate Jewelry class where she will teach you how to create a full set. The set will include a necklace, bracelet and earrings all in very classy black faux pearl and glass beads. Again, just $20 includes ALL supplies. This class will run from 6:30p - 8:30p, so call Renee to sign up for these great classes.

Renee is a very busy lady this week, on Tuesday, June 23rd she will again share her talents with you, this time teaching you how to do One Stroke Painting. In the morning she will be teaching you how to create lovely wildflowers. Even if you can't draw a stick figure, Renee will teach you in one class how to paint beautiful flowers. From 10 am - noon, this class is $20 plus supplies. To sign up, call Renee at 352-584-2555.

Renee returns in the afternoon to teach another One Stroke Painting class, this time she will be teaching you how to create an amazing Floral Mirror. For only

$24, you will not only learn how to create this beautiful mirror, but, the fee includes the mirror AND the paint. Again call Renee to make your reservation for this class, 352-584-2555.

If you just can't end the day without learning one more new technique, well then, it is Peggy's turn to amaze you with her creative talents. Peggy will be teaching the Envelope Album in the picture above. This album is loaded with embellishments & tags. Room for lots of pictures and made from recycled envelopes, so you're saving the planet as well as learning! Her fabulous class runs from 6p-9p Tuesday, June 23rd. Fee: $18 and includes ALL supplies.

The queen of creativity returns once again on Wednesday, June 24th, this time to teach you Gallery Glass. This technique looks just like stained glass, but, it is sooooooo much easier. You paint on it! Renee will be teaching how to create Palm Trees in this class. Fee $20 plus supplies. Call Renee to sign up at

Peggy returns Thursday afternoon, June 25th to give those who could not attend the evening class Tuesday night a chance to take the Envelope Album class this afternoon. Again, this is the album pictured above and the class will be taught from 1p-4p. $18 includes all supplies needed, please refer to class description above for further details. Creative Hands has a blog!!

We are so excited to introduce our new blog here at Creative Hands. We are a craft store and studio located in Spring Hill Florida. We carry products for scrapbooking, stamping, quilling, gallery glass, jewelry making, one stroke painting, pencil drawing, card making and altered art. We are lucky to have some fabulous instructors on staff to teach you new and innovative crafting techniques. If you don't want to take one of our classes and just need a place to escape to for a little while and work on one of your own projects, stop on by for Open Studio the first Thursday of every month. Open Studio hours are 10 am - 10 pm and the fee is $5. This includes use of all studio tools, dies, stamps, etc.
